Ah the good ole days of Women in Prison films, they don’t make em like this anymore. Our girl Wilson is fresh fish (!) Dropped in the clinker on drug charges she’s quickly taken under the wing of seasoned inmates Bella and Pandora. Cut to Chaplin style skits, gratuitous breast shot, shower scene, cat fight in the shower, angry frigid warden in a wheelchair, and some more boobies. Get in trouble and that bitch of a warden might send you to Dr. McPervy for some electroshock therapy. Oh, and while your all tied down he’s gonna try and touch yer boobs.
After a few failed attempts at escaping Wilson and the feisty Latina finally make it out of the joint. They pick up an accomplice: part time erotic wrestler named Crazy. She’s the best. Queue more gratuitous breast shots and a soliciting prostitution shakedown. Meanwhile back in the joint, Bella’s being held by Doc Nasty and Pandora’s in solitary, reading a book, naked. You know, business as usual. The final showdown between the girls and the guards is the stuff these films are made of: slow motion jumping out of the back of a van, freeze frames and cheesy transitions, shoot em up gunfights, and slapstick. You crazy for this one Demme!
