The Stuff is not worth the effort it would take to lift your hand and press play on your DVD player. But one thing it has going for it is the logo for “The Stuff ” (an evil mutant form of Marshmallow Fluff) which looks even better as a hot pink neon. The film is meant to be a satire but is really the unfunny edible bootleg version of The Blob, with a few amusing moments coming from Garrett Morris (Martin’s boss, SNL cast member and Space Ghost guest) and some bad green screen. The rest is as sloppy as the sticky goo it refers to and a waste of 93 minutes. In an attempt to turn shit into (tarnished) gold here’s a few choice stills.
