MASK. Wow, I really really love this movie. Cher is amazing as Rusty, the tough as nails yet vulnerable mother to absolutely lovable Rocky (Eric Stoltz). Rocky is just your typical teenager who’s mom is part of a very cheerful and show tunes loving bike gang called the Turks. What makes Rocky different is that he has Craniodiaphyseal dysplasia which makes his face look like a grotesque mask to those who don’t know him. He just wants to collect Brooklyn Dodgers baseball cards, ride through Europe on a motorcycle and fall in love. I’m not saying this movie is an upper but still, all together now: Aww.
