Is it just me or is there something about siamese twins? They fascinate and disturb us, you want to look away but find yourself unable to stop staring. It’s an unbreakable and strange bond that these twins have. After watching hours of Sister Sister I sometimes wished my sister and I were twins, no dice. But then again what if your twin was EVIL? Sisters is like a perfect episode of the Twilight Zone. It’s Brian De Palma’s ode to Hitchcock and Polanski with his own twist. A creative screenplay, a dramatic score, split screens, and interesting angles all make this movie equal parts style and substance. Margot Kidder is great as Danielle, the more demure sister and Jennifer Salt is great as the spunky reporter. On a randomly awesome note the twins live on Staten Island, extra freaky!!
